Brief Reviews: The UPS Store has a web site to estimate shipping cost ("Calculate Cost???, http://www.theupsstore.com/qcc/qcc.asp) This on line calculator is inaccurate!. My package was 55x32x3 and 21lb. In the calculator, the cost estimate was $28.16. In the store, I was charged $33.91. When asked about the discrepancy, I was told by Cora that "the calculator is always wrong"! I was at the ups store at 909 Marina Village Pky, Alameda, CA 94501

Brief Reviews: This UPS location is the closest one to my home. I got my ups label from the merchant to whom the package was suppose to go. The owner/ worker of this location refuse to scan my package or give me the receipt for my drop off. I was told that you can leave it here and when the pickup truck comes they will take it. I asked how can I track this package if you don't scan it and what is the proof that I left it with you, his response was since you didn't use our services (pay him) I can't scan it. so beware and don't trust them. If they refuse to scan don't leave your package. Services should come first before $$$$. The store makes about $2.00 from ups for scanning it. May be he was not aware of it, next time he won't refuse it. :-)
