Brief Reviews: Not the best service, and many of the assistants aren't as fluent in English as you would expect from a law firm but if you're in need of a Spainish speaker this is the place to go. For the price the service is acceptable, but it's nothing exceptional. That seems to be the common theme throughout these reviews and it was true for me as well.

Brief Reviews: Lewis is a good lawyer. We are a mid size government contracting firm and have used this law firm's services for the past eleven years. I have met a few of the lawyers at the firm and have nothing bad to say about the firm. I am simply writing this review because of the other reviewer you gave negative comments about the Lewis Law Firm. First of all how the retainer works (at least in our case) is that they keep the money in their trust account and bill their time against it. After the case is finished the remaining amount in the trust account is returned. We have used their services on a number of occasions over the past years. They have been professional and well respected by the judges in federal and Virginia courts. I have also referred other clients to them and have never received negative feedback. I as a business owner do not like it when someone writes a bad review about another person for the world to see and they never even hired the services of the company. There are always going to be mean spirited but I always want to treat other as I wish to be treated so I felt compelled to write this review. If you ever need legal services, talk directly to Lewis and you will find him to be not only a fierce litigator but also a compassionate person. Their fee is reasonable for the services they provide. I am not saying that they are cheap. But when your life is hanging in the balance then you want the best. Lewis is the best.

Brief Reviews: She represented me for a traffic charge. The only communication I had with her prior the court date was one phone call and a couple of emails. She didn't seem interested in defending me. The day of the court date, I met her at court. I saw many attorneys talking to their clients which seemed to be ready to fight for the best possible outcome. She didn't seem to interested in talking to me. I talked to her a little later as she explained what the commonwealth attorney offered. The offer was the same charge of Reckless Driving, but at a different code(?). Supposedly at lower traffic points. Not until after I accepted this charge when I was paying the fine, I overheard other attorneys breaking deals for their clients that had way worse charges then I had. For example DUI's down to Reckless. I got Reckless down to Reckless. I just felt like there was not much fight from her to get the best deal. Just kind of a get paid, show up, and leave kind of deal. This really did not make any difference to my record. I feel that I could have done the same on my own without paying the money to be represented by an attorney. I had a clean record prior this charge... so it wasn't like it was a loosing battle. This was the first time I needed the service of an attorney. If there is ever a next time, I will be sure to do some research and evaluate a few different attorneys until I get the feeling I have someone who is there to represent my best interests.

Brief Reviews: I took a meeting with Livesay and Myers, PC - for plus $300. The meeting went well until I found that another $1500.00 would be needed if uncontested. If contested - it automatically jumps to $3000. If face to face was needed with both parties - that would be another $1500. They are the best if contested related to - retired Military and or Property to settle. However...keep looking if your divorce is uncontested. You could pay less. 3 stars related to the cost.
