Brief Reviews: The source of the referral is a senior minister/author with a PhD from one of my own home congregations where I'd placed membership. (In fact, I'd been told I could just dip into the collection plate any ole time, if needed, to raise my sons as a single mother w/ sole custody. That ought NOT to be necessary with both private child support and EEOC agencies which are supposed to abide by federally enforced handicapped right-to-work laws.) I proceeded to visit Isbell in person for consultation on an emergency family law issue which was linked to other matters and all of my civil rights. He was a complete disappointment, choosing to discount the entire subject with improvised acting on the spot unless the behaviour was premeditated and then he's guilty of far worse. His stmt: "I wouldn't have the time!" Less than a year later, I contacted Isbell from jail where the abuser had placed me following a police assault on myself or asked family to do so. He refused to represent me on the other matter, also, and continued to refuse to participate in mediation or resolution over the next years leading one to ask if any of the Isbell's on city council or running for office currently in Pasadena, TX are related to him directly. I do not recommend this attorney except for license suspension. He forced me into the homeless system and helped steal years from my life, leaving me to be robbed and abused further...permanently homeless and destitute with many businesses following his lead to reverse better business policies via withheld timely action.
